Ko Olina Golf Club

We worked with the developer of this site to translate this site which is built on a customized CMS (content management system). The site is easy to update both in English and in Japanese. It is also linked to an online tee-time booking service that handles booking in Japanese.

Rather than translating the whole e-commerce site, we developed a compact blog site in Japanese to provie the information to help the Japanese users get comfortable to shop on the site: shipping cost, about custom, how to order, who is mauithing. We believe that this is a cost smart approach to expand your e-commerce horizon.
Hamrick Software
Website translation, Yahoo registration
Hamrick Software wanted just a sigle page in Japanese but when applied to Yahoo Japan for registeration, it was first turned down due to "lack of content." We designed and expanded it into 6 pages and successfully registered it to Yahoo Japan's directory. Although we did not SEO this site, it is now listed on the second page on Yahoo! Japan with "scanner driver" search. (as of 2009/10)
The Oakes Hotel Overlooking the Falls

We rewrote the entire copy of the 6-page Japanese website for SEO purposes, in addition to other SEO work for the site. As a result, the site is now ranked 5th from the top on the first page on Yahoo! Japan with "Niagara hotel" search (as of 2009/10). Previously, the site could not be found in the first 10 pages of Yahoo results for the same search query.
Sea Life Park Hawaii

Known for its interactive "Swim with dolphins" programs, Sea LifePark Hawaii is a popular tourist destination on the island of Oahu. However, its website appeared down on the 10th page of Yahoo! Japan's for "Hawaii dolphin" search. Since we began working on the site, its rankings have steadily improved, and now the website appears on the 1st page, 2nd from the top, with "Hawaii iruka (dolphin)" search (as of 2009/10).
Jack's Tours

Jack’s Tours provides tours and transportation on the Big Island of Hawaii. We took over their Japanese SEO and PPC management from another SEO provider and the website is on its way up on the rankings. The website is ranked as #1 on Yahoo! Japan with the competitive keyword "Hawaii Tou (island) Optional Tour" search. (as of 2009/10)

Kotero Design is a Honolulu-based interior design company. It is in the process of expanding its business base globally with its new line of chairs, tables and booths for commercial dining facilities. In translating the Kotero Design website to Japanese, we left many words in English for visual appeal but changed the navigational links and buttons to Japanese for functionality.
Hawaii Kai Golf Course

Hawaii Kai Golf Course had a 10-year-old website that enjoyed great search rankings but needed to re-organize its content and update in look-and-feel. We successfully re-designed the site without losing search rankings. It is ranked at the top with "Hawaii Kai golf" search and on the 3rd page for "Hawaii golf" search with Yahoo! Japan. The client is happy to find that the visitors stay longer and view more pages on their site than before.
Kato Golf Tours

Kato Golf Tours serves golfers visiting Hawaii from Japan. We re-designed its 12-year-old large site to organize the content, to improve navigation and to update the look. SEO is built-in throughout the design. As a result, the website moved up from the 8th to the very top on the first page with Yahoo! Japan for its most important and highly competitive key word "Hawaii golf." (as of 2009/10)
Ward Centers

The website for one of the largest shopping centers in Honolulu has administration panels where the property management staff can update merchant and event information. Since no one at the management writes Japanese, the Japanese section was built in static HTML and we provide the updating work.
Kona Country Club

Kona Country Club wanted its Japanese website to be a simplified version of its English website. The client has found that many of its players from Japan mention the website as part of the reasons of their decision of choosing the course. Heritage Health had its English website but the client was not happy with it. We listened and worked with the client to sort and develop the right content. The new Japanese website features clean, soothing look-and-feel with well organized and easy-to-follow navigation.
The Factory

The Factory produces and sells hand-shaped and custom made surfboards to discriminating surfers in the U.S. and other countries. In developing a Japanese version of the website, we recommended and created a testimonial page that features Japanese customers' comments and their photos. FAQ page and About Us pages are also altered specific to the Japanese customers.
